Jim Cancilleri, DPM Somers Point, N.J.
Dear John, I know that you have heard my excitement over the addition of your heat-molded "720" orthotic devices. I admit that I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the product, but that only lasted for about 5 minutes, as I have been wearing them ever since. The JM Orthotic has become one of the most exciting treatment additions to my practice in several years. I believe that it is proving itself as a very attractive alternative to patients who have not been able to tolerate a traditional cast molded orthotic in their shoes or for whom the cost of the traditional orthotic is prohibitive. The bottom line, John, is that the "720" provides a wonderfully comfortable insert alternative that actually FITS in almost any shoe, and.........my profit is quite sizable. I am proud of the opportunity that I present to my patients and they have been most grateful. I am looking forward to a long professional relationship with you and Dr. Mike. You guys have been most accomodating and easy to work with. Thank you. Laurajean Councill, D.P.M. Pasadena, MD Drs. You must try the JM 720 Heat Molded Orthotics! I am so excited about this product because it is easy to fabricate and gives the patient a great fitting orthotic. A physician and patient pleasing product. Wow! Joseph Giacalone, D.P.M. Ogden, UT. Dear John, I see about 30 patients a day and I have days where I dispense 15 pair. I am getting fantastic results with the JM 720 orthotics. My patients love the product and appreciate going home the same day with their orthotic. We sell them for just under $100 and collect cash only. People in my area know what orthotics traditionally cost, everyone is happy to write a check and our bottom line profit is huge. Kevin Schroeder, DPM John, I wanted to let you know just how satisfied I am with your custom orthotics. I have been using your product for eight months now and I am very satisfied with your product and service. I have not had any complaints about your orthotics by my patients. They are extremely happy, especially with the ability to use them in all types of shoes because they are so thin. I speak from experience when I say that they have been almost 100% successful in my heel pain patients, I was experiencing heel pain myself in June when you fabricated a pair for me at the seminar in Maine. I was able to run three miles in the devices within 36 hours and my heel pain was completely resolved in a matter of eight weeks. I had no other treatment for my heel pain---no NSAIDs, no injections, no stretching, no physical therapy. I am proof of the biomechanical control maintained by your orthotics. Thank you from a satisfied client and a satisfied patient. Clive Salmon, D.P.M. Dear John, I was introduced to JM Orthotics at a seminar where they were demonstrated to me. I was immediately impressed with the ease of custom fitting as well as the comfort afforded, as my feet can testify. I immediately ordered 100 pair to start. My patients love them and the company has provided great support. They are also an excellent source of revenue. Curtis T. Holden, D.P.M. John & Mike, It wasn't too long ago that I used to send all my patients for over the counter arch supports. A friend of mine explained what a disservice that was for my patients, they tell their friends who go to the store instead of my office. With JM Orthotics I began servicing my patients again. Not only are the JM 720's better than any OTC orthotics, but I found them better than most lab fabricated custom orthotics. Most insurances pay for the 720's and patients can and will use them with most shoes. They fit in shoes that most custom orthotics won't. Help your patients, make them happy and help yourself generate new income. Jane E. Graebner, D.P.M. Delaware, OH After 22 years in practice, you might say I have become "stuck in my ways". I approach new products and ideas with caution and never want to be the first to "jump on the bandwagon". I've seen plenty of new medical innovations come onto the scene and disappear within a short period of time. So when I bumped into a fellow podiatrist at the annual Ohio Podiatric Medical Association conference in the spring of 2003, I listened to his enthusiastic praise of a new type of pre-fabricated orthotic with skepticism. He had been experiencing neuroma pain for several months and and the pain had increased to the point of limping as he toured the exhibit hall. The gentlemen at the JM Orthotics booth had offered to make him a sample pair of these orthotics. First, they heated the plastic shells in the correct size in a simple toaster oven. Then they placed them on a thin pillow on the ground and my colleague simply stood on the devices for a few minutes while wearing socks. The whole process only took a few minutes. As soon as his devices had cooled, he placed them in his shoes and felt immediate relief of his pain primarily due to the metatarsal pads pressed within the shell. Keeping an open mind, I headed over to the JM Orthotics display and they demonstrated the technique by making a pair for me. As with most conferences, I had chosen to wear dress shoes and because this is not my usual foot apparel, I had been experiencing my own foot pain on that day. These devices are light and fit easily into dressier shoes. I found out why my friend had been so generous with his praise. The orthotics were extremely comfortable and provided instant relief of the aching pain in my arches and across the metatarsal heads. After that demonstration, I decided to purchase a small supply of their product and try it on some of my patients. We all know how our patients' financial concerns are much more important these days than 20 years ago. Many of my Medicare patients cannot afford the cost of custom-made orthotics devices. They are often working as greeters at Wal-Mart and Meijers just to make ends meet. Not surprisingly, these working seniors are just the ones who would most benefit from orthotics. So I began to suggest JM Orthotics for some of these patients and I even offered them a moneyback guarantee if they did not like them. As my group of "guinea pigs" increased, I only had one patient who returned the devices. I often suggest that patients place these devices beneath the soft innersole of an athletic shoe to cushion the plastic surface. After a few short months, I was thoroughly impressed with this product. It fills a niche in my practice - providing cost-effective orthotic devices to those without insurance coverage. Now many of my female patients who have custom-made orthotics for day-to-day use are having JM orthotics made for their higher heeled dress shoes. These can be heated and molded right in the shoes. I have utilized them on young athletes in the middle of their season who cannot afford to wait 2-3 weeks while the laboratory fabricates a custom device. It has almost been a year now since I began using JM Orthotics and I am very pleased with this product. The service, price, and quality have all been excellent. They are expanding their line to include narrow devices for dress shoes. The CD they provide with instructions is 90 minutes long and offers many ideas for alterations and additions to their product. The owners of JM are truly committed to the podiatric profession especially since one of the founders is a podiatrist himself. It is a pleasure doing business with them and I was pleased that they asked me to endorse their product |
